Mr. President...

George Walker Bush...

43rd President of the United States, has earned the reputation of being a compassionate conservative who shapes US policy on the principles of limited government, personal responsibility, and a strong family unit.

Taking a look at samples of his handwriting indicate that these traits are indeed, his true character.

Like him or not... with "W"... what you see is what you get!!!

An Overview of our handwriting samples...

To maintain the integrity of the sample, the following images are large and will take a few moments to download. Thank you for your patience.

Figure 1

Slant

Looking at Figure 1, one of the first things you notice is that the writing slants to the right. This right slant shows him to be an emotionally responsive and expressive person who feels situations intensely. He relates well to others and because of this, he can, at times, be drawn into emotional situations that totally drain him. He takes the time, occasionally, to "recharge" his batteries and then he's off and running again.

Spacing

Another noticeable trait is the wide spacing between his words. This indicates his generosity. He will quickly offer praise and support... but only when it's deserved or earned.

If you were to imagine his words placed on a lined sheet of paper, you notice that the writing pretty much stays on the line... indicating good willpower, reliability, and common sense in pursuing his goals persistently. There isn't any doubt that he will follow through on what he starts out to do.

His handwriting covers all three zones... upper, lower and middle... proportionately. The tall upper stems in his h's, f's, l's, indicate his interest in goals and the future, and the long tails on his y's, p's and g's indicate that he has expended a lot of physical energy dealing with the past. However, the middle zone... the present... is well represented showing that the President is very conscious of handling his current day-to-day responsibilities.

Now, let's look at some specific's of the President's handwriting...

Figure 2

Look at the i-dots in Figure 2.

They are either just above the stem or off to the right a bit. The i-dot above the stem shows loyalty and commitment to stand by the people or ideas that he considers worthy. The i-dots off to the right is an indication of his impatience and wanting "to get on with the program" for the future.

The letter "o" has a clean, crisp look... with no inner loops.

Which tells me that he's candid, blunt, and brutally honest. Watch out, because he doesn't like secrets and finds deceit totally unacceptable. And he's straightforward with his opinions, whether asked for or not.

The letters "m" and "n" are pointed rather than rounded on top.

This shows him to be a cumulative thinker... it's important that he get the proper facts and data before making his final decisions. His self-esteem is strong enough that he isn't afraid to let others have input... but he will make the final decision and then take responsibility for the outcome. He uses his past experiences as a guideline to make sure that he avoids any of the same mistakes in the future.

The "t-bar" tells a lot.

The President's t-bars are located toward the top of the stem and have a blunt ending. This tell us that he's ambitious, sets high goals for himself, and presents a positive, confident manner. These are valuable traits for anyone in a leadership role... especially when you're needing to convince someone to do something they may not believe in or want to do.

The fact that the t-bars are extra long indicates a tremendous amount of energy and enthusiasm. He's willing to work hard long hours at projects that are important to him.

The loops in the letters "y" and "g" relate to his PHYSICAL being.

Notice that the loops in his "y's" and "g's" vary. Some of them have normal length and width loops, some have rather large fat loops, and some look like fishhooks. This tells us that The President has normal healthy physical drives, likes variety is his physical activities, and was at the time the sample was taken, was experiencing some frustration in that area of his life.

This could mean several things... either he was spending a lot of mental time rather than being able to do the physical exercises he prides himself on. Or, it could also mean that perhaps he and The First Lady were preoccupied with their obligations and not taking care of each other!

General conclusions:

The President is a very intelligent man. One who can quickly size up and understand any situation placed before him. He has intense willpower, as well as the ability to shut out distractions and intently focus on solving whatever issue with which he's dealing .

He is a very emotional person and is secure enough with himself that he's not afraid to show his emotional side... when the occasion presents itself. He's very passionate about the issues he believes in, and isn't satisfied until they have come to fruition.

We may or may not always agree with him, but if you are a praying person... PLEASE keep the United States and George W. Bush in your prayers.

Till next time...
