Uses of Handwriting Analysis in Everyday life.
What
it is...
Handwriting analysis is the study of a person's handwriting to assess
their personality characteristics. Thus, the statement... "handwriting
is really brain-writing".
The
brain is the source of your personality...
And it's really your brain that tells your extremity what to write.
Your conscious mind determines WHAT you write and your subconscious
mind controls HOW you write. This explains how personality characteristics
can be analyzed by an evaluation of handwriting "traits".
These traits include size, pressure, speed, spacing, slant, and over
40 others.
Everything
you do reflects your personality... including your handwriting. And
the study is firmly based on scientific principles, and established
by research over the past 150 years.
Handwriting
analysis is classified as a "clinical" test...
But, as with any testing device, psychiatrists and psychologists have
found evaluating its accuracy to be very difficult. Even with the
variance in accuracy being between 80% and 95%... it's still proven
itself to be useful in numerous applications...
Employer
screening for prospective employees...
Handwriting analysis has long been used in Europe, where it's recognized
as a valid psycho diagnostic technique. In fact, Dun's Review reports
that it's routinely used as a hiring tool by an estimated 85% of all
European countries. And, according to The Wall Street Journal, over
80% of the top 500 companies in France use handwriting analysis to
screen prospective employees. In the United States, it's estimated
that over 6,000 Corporations now screen their employees with the help
of a handwriting analyst. Most companies are finding that it's far
less costly to use handwriting analysis than the battery of psychological
tests previously used.
Psychological
counseling...
Some psychologists use handwriting analysis for personality evaluation
and therapy.
Law
enforcement...
Handwriting analysis helps law enforcement get inside the criminal's
mind. Knowing who's telling the truth or who's lying and what kind
of person committed the crime, they can determine what they're up
against. If they can obtain suicide notes, ransom notes, or signatures,
they can determine the "personality type" of suspect they're
looking for.
The
Judicial System...
Handwriting analysis is admissible in court to determine who composed
a particular document or to prove that a document has been forged.
Attorneys are even using it to select prospective jurors... such as
in the O.J. Simpson murder trial.
Customs
and intelligence agents...
When entering the United States, you must "declare", in
writing, what you're bringing into the country. By looking at the
handwriting, as well as using other clues that they're taught to use,
(what a person looks like, what they "smell" like, what
kind of bags they're carrying, and even eye-movements, etc.), a trained
agent can spot the most likely candidates that need to be searched.
Single
people use it to select partners...
it's very effective in assessing compatibility for developing personal
relationships. A lot of valuable time and emotions can be saved, by
simply knowing WHAT the handwriting is telling you.
Marriage
enrichment...
Marries couples can improve their relationships by learning how to
communicate with each other and by learning what makes the other person
"tick".
These applications are just the
tip of the iceberg...
Who knows, one of these days, we may have to provide a handwriting
sample to get a car or house loan... to make sure that we're the type
who would repay a note because of what our personality traits show.
Interesting... don't you think?
Til
next time...
